Born in 80s in Soviet Lithuania (independent Lithuania since 90s), Anastasya was destined to explore new cultural identities every decade of her life. At 19 she moved to study in Jerusalem, at 26 - to Berlin. As a result, fluency in English, Hebrew, German, Russian and Lithuanian languages presented her a deep insight into different cultures and lifestyles. Nevertheless, it was the 90s post soviet vibe and survival lifestyle, which left a permanent trace in her perception and helped form her visual language.

In 2015 Anastasya participated in the 6th edition of European Editing Masterclass in Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia. This was the rare opportunity to communicate and co-work with the young film editors from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia

In 2017 Anastasya was invited to give an introductory lecture to film editing at Video Dance Workshop 2017 in DOCK 11 Berlin, which turned to a very successful teaching experience.
